About Had-Fab
Had-Fab designs, fabricates and installs structural steel and aluminium solutions, offering feasibility studies, site surveys, structural design, material supply, surface treatments, installation and project management as an integrated service.
Its customers include power transmission and distribution network operators, energy, rail, civils and infrastructure operators, consultants, OEMs, principal contractors and commercial and industrial clients in the UK and overseas. Work is delivered on a project basis, with case studies listed for the East Coast Line, a Scottish Government overhead line pole project and an interconnector repair in France.
The company was established in 1993 and is headquartered in East Lothian, Scotland, operating from four sites in Tranent covering over 55,000 square metres, including two 120-metre covered manufacturing lines. It is Execution Class 4 accredited and its weld procedures are qualified to BS EN ISO 15614-1 and -2. Open roles include CNC machine operator, quality inspector, welding supervisor and detailing trainee, all based in Tranent.
