About Haanpaa
Samat is a European transport and logistics group specialising in sensitive products, including chemicals, hydrocarbons, gas, car carrier and general goods. Services cover road haulage, rail-road combinations, barge and short-sea transport, and on-site logistics such as plant flow management, product packaging handling and chartering. Its Resoclean Europe unit runs a network of tank and container cleaning stations, generally located near major industrial sites.
Customers are industrial shippers of liquid and powdered products, including chemical and agri-food products. The group sells bespoke transport and logistics contracts tailored to each customer.
The group was founded in 1997 and the registered entity is based in Tallinn, Estonia. Samat has about fifteen sites in France and a dozen more in Europe, including Spain, Poland, Portugal and Germany. Samat Nordic, centred on the Baltic Sea, has over a dozen sites in Estonia, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands and Sweden. Open roles include a Traffic Planner position in Helsingborg.
