About Groundsure
Groundsure provides environmental, geological, mining and climate risk reports for property decisions in the UK. Its product range includes residential and commercial due diligence reports, the Insights bundle, mining searches, and Street Works DRA, a desktop risk assessment tool for statutory undertakers and their contractors.
The company also offers Explorer, a workspace for mapping and analysing environmental, geological and historical data. Its customers include conveyancers, real estate lawyers, commercial solicitors, geo-environmental professionals and property professionals. Reports are sold as individual searches and bundles, and the Insights package includes Explorer access.
Groundsure was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Brighton, UK. It achieved B Corp certification in September 2023. The company reports that it has digitised over 1.6 million historical Ordnance Survey maps and that its ClimateIndex risk model has been used in over 1.3 million property transactions. It is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager for its Insights team.
