Grieg Connect

Grieg Connect builds software for port operations. Its Port system is a cloud-based port management information system covering port calls, quay planning, services, resource planning, access control, reporting and invoicing. The Shiplog Traffic line provides real-time vessel traffic information, digital bridge tools and crew and passenger alerts for ferries and high-speed vessels.

Customers are port authorities and terminals, as well as ferries and public authorities. The company states that more than 115 port authorities and terminals use its software and that its Shiplog Traffic system serves more than 320 ferries and high-speed vessels along the coast of Norway. It sells software and related services.

Grieg Connect is headquartered in Bergen, Norway, and was founded in 2006. It has its roots in Grieg Group's maritime operations; Monterro is the majority owner and Grieg Group an active minority owner. The company acquired Finnish PMIS provider Wellamo Data in December 2025 and lists customers in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Denmark and Germany. It reports more than 30 employees, and recent job openings include sales and business consultant roles for ports and terminals in the Nordics and a software developer position.
