About Gocardless

GoCardless provides bank payment collection for businesses, including one-off Pay by Bank payments, recurring Direct Debit, instalments and outbound payments to suppliers or other third parties. Add-ons include Success+ for recovering failed payments and Protect+ for fraud protection. Merchants can connect through an API or through integrations with more than 350 software products, including Xero, QuickBooks and Zuora.

Its customers are businesses ranging from small companies to enterprises, and the company says more than 100,000 businesses use it. Revenue comes from per-transaction fees: Standard is 1% + 20p, Advanced 1.25% + 20p and Pro 1.4% + 20p, excluding VAT, with a custom package for businesses with £1m+ annual revenue. It connects to 2,300+ banks across the UK and Europe and collects payments from customers in 30+ countries.

GoCardless was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in London. It is now part of Mollie, as stated on its website. Open roles span engineering, data, product, legal, compliance and operations, with postings in London, Leeds, Riga, Lisbon, Melbourne and a remote US position.
