About Genvia
Genvia develops solid oxide electrolyzer technology that uses industrial heat to reduce the electrical energy needed to produce hydrogen. Its modular H-Pod system is fuelled by industrial heat and can be replicated up to 20 MW.
Its customers are industrial operators in hard-to-abate sectors, including e-fuels, ammonia and fertilizer, steel, maritime, refining, chemicals, cement, and glass and aluminium. Applications described on the website include e-SAF, e-ammonia and e-methanol production.
Genvia is a joint venture between engineering, construction and research organisations, with CEA and SLB among its partners. It is based in Béziers, France, and was founded on 30 November 2020. Its website names Florence Lambert as President and Chief Executive Officer.
