About Gardec

Gardec repairs, refits and maintains commercial and industrial ships, including work in its own dry dock. It also fabricates and assembles offshore and onshore steel structures, and offers welding in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, CNC machining, mechanical and electrical maintenance, ship dry-docking and crane rental.

The company serves ship owners and industrial and offshore customers. It began as a diesel service business and now operates in ship repair, maintenance and metal construction for both offshore and onshore applications.

Gardec is based in Zeebrugge, Belgium, where it has its operations. It is currently recruiting for five roles there, including ship mechanics, a lathe operator, a technical warehouse worker, a steel and offshore project leader and an administrative clerk.
