About Galmarley
Galmarley, trading as BullionVault, runs an online platform where private investors buy, store and sell allocated gold, silver, platinum and palladium bullion. Bars are held in professional-market vaults in Zurich, London, Toronto, Singapore or New York, chosen by the customer, and storage includes insurance. Customers can also deal directly with each other on a live order board.
Customers are private individuals; the company states it has more than 130,000 users in 175 countries holding about $9 billion of bullion. Revenue comes from commission, custody fees, interest receipts and the difference between buying and selling prices of gold.
The company was founded in London in October 2003, and the BullionVault service launched in April 2005. It is a full member of the London Bullion Market Association and is part-owned by GBIT and Augmentum Fintech plc. It has won Queen's Awards for Enterprise in 2009, 2013 and 2022. Its offices are in West London.
