Its products include fast business term loans, FlexiPay, a flexible on-demand credit line, a cashback business credit card, and asset finance through partner providers. The company states that it is not a bank and that it is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Customers are UK small business owners who apply through an online form; the company says decisions can come in as little as 5 minutes and funds are typically paid within 48 hours of approval. The company continues to service loans after they are funded. The company's German site states that it no longer accepts new applications there and that its investor offering has not included new investment opportunities since March 2020.

Founded in 2010, the company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and presents its UK-based team in London, where all 25 open roles in the job listings are located. The site says it has helped over 135,000 UK businesses borrow £18 billion. The current openings cover sales, product, engineering, data, risk, collections, legal and marketing. The company states it was named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work in 2026.
