FROOX GmbH develops and produces snack products, specialising in freeze-dried fruit and coated nuts. Its range covers freeze-dried fruit, freeze-dried fruit with chocolate coatings and nuts coated in cocoa mass or chocolate, including organic and vegan variants. It sells its own brands, Fruity Souls, NUYU NUTS and FRUUCS, and also manufactures individual products and industrial pre-products for other companies.

Customers are retail partners who market FROOX brands or private label products, and industrial customers who use its freeze-dried fruit and nuts as ingredients for muesli, cakes, yoghurt, ice cream and toppings. Services for food brand owners include product concept, recipe development, label review, quality management, packaging and logistics. NUYU NUTS is also sold directly through an online shop.

The company traces its business to 2004, when freeze-dried fruit coated in chocolate was first marketed. A team took over the company in 2020 and it is headquartered in Hamburg. It states that it supplies partners in 14 countries and that its products are sold in more than 11,500 supermarkets. Logistics are handled by warehouse partners in northern Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Current job postings include field sales roles in the Ruhr region and Munich and an accountant in Hamburg.
