About Fonderie Laval

Fonderie Laval is a shell-moulding foundry in Change, France, part of Gietburg Group. It produces steel and cast-iron components, including gearboxes, propellers, hydraulic manifolds and valve blocks, in materials such as steel, cast iron and SiMo (silicon molybdenum).

Its customers are manufacturers in the automotive, truck and bus, engine, agriculture and hydraulics industries, which it supplies with components. The group also offers in-house tooling, machining and finishing, and development services across its six divisions.

Fonderie Laval was founded in 2024 and joined Gietburg Group through that group's 2024 acquisition of the plant. Gietburg Group traces its origins to a foundry founded in Doesburg, Netherlands, in 1896. The group holds IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and TISAX certifications and reports recycling over 96% of its raw materials.
