About Flyability
Flyability makes the Elios 3, a collision-tolerant drone for remote visual inspection, 3D mapping and surveying in confined and hazardous industrial spaces. The product line includes a tether power unit, a high-capacity battery, an ultrasonic thickness-measurement (UT) payload, a flammable gas sensor and Flyability Cloud for sharing inspection data.
Customers are industrial operators in sectors such as energy, wastewater and mining, served through direct sales and a network of more than 50 resellers that provide demonstrations, training and maintenance. The company sells drones and related products; its website states it does not provide inspection services itself.
Flyability SA was founded in 2014 as a spin-off from EPFL's Laboratory of Intelligent Systems and is headquartered in Paudex, Lausanne, with offices in Denver, Shanghai and Singapore. The website reports more than 120 full-time employees and about $40M raised since 2014. Current openings include R&D roles in autonomy and machine learning based in Paudex, and sales and customer support roles, including North America positions in Denver.
Product: Elios 3 indoor inspection drone with tether power unit, high-capacity battery, UT thickness payload, flammable gas sensor and Flyability Cloud data platform.
