About flightright.de

Flightright is an online legal service that enforces air passenger rights under EU Regulation 261/2004. It handles claims for delayed, cancelled and overbooked flights, missed connections and rebooked flights, including ticket refunds. Users check their entitlement in an online calculator, and the company then negotiates with the airline and goes to court where necessary.

Its customers are air travellers in Germany and across Europe. Flightright earns a commission only when a claim succeeds, stated as typically 20–30% plus VAT of the amount recovered. It is part of the Allright group, which also runs the Chevalier employment-law portal and the freem traffic-law consumer portal. The group acquired the Danish competitor Flyhjaelp in 2021.

The company was founded in 2010 and has an office in Berlin-Friedrichhain. It states that it has enforced over 700 million euros in compensation and reports a 99% success rate.
