Filetfabrikken is part of Blue Resource Group, a Norwegian seafood company. Its plant in Nittedal, just outside Oslo, serves the inbound flow of raw material from Norwegian salmon farms and the outbound distribution of finished products to global markets.

Founded in 2022 through a partnership with GNIKS AS and Dom International, the facility was inaugurated in November 2023 and added a second production line in 2024 and a third in 2025. The company has about 100 employees from nearly 30 nationalities and lists openings in production, logistics, quality and technical roles, with no current openings at the time of review.
