About Fiksukyläkaupat

Fiksukyläkaupat operates a chain of self-service village grocery stores in Finland. Customers register in the Kyläkauppa app, open the store door during self-service hours and pay at the checkout, while a shopkeeper serves customers during staffed hours.

The chain serves residents of rural villages and holiday-home visitors. Stores are run by local shopkeepers, and the company offers a franchising model that includes supplier agreements, a product catalogue, pricing support, technology and a network of experienced shopkeepers. Villagers can also initiate a store in their own village.

The company was founded in 2022 and is registered in Vesanka, where its first store is located. Its stores are in villages across Finland, including Vesanka, Hankasalmi, Hämeenkyrö, Lieto, Lapua, Leppävirta, Ylivieska and Taivalkoski.

Product: Self-service village grocery stores operated through the Kyläkauppa app, with a franchising model for local shopkeepers.
