About Ferryhopper
Ferryhopper operates an online platform for booking ferry tickets. Travelers compare schedules, prices and amenities from more than 360 ferry operators across 1700 destinations in 63 countries, then book, change or cancel trips online. Electronic tickets and online check-in are offered for 90% of the ferry companies on the platform.
Customers are travelers who book ferry journeys, with the strongest coverage in the Greek islands, Italy, Spain, Croatia and Northern Europe, and international routes in Asia and Latin America.
Ferryhopper was founded in 2016 and launched online in April 2017. Its headquarters is in Moschato, Greece, with an office in Athens and satellite teams in Spain and Italy. The company states it has over 120 people. Publicly announced funding includes a €600K seed round in 2019, a €2.6M Series A in 2020 and a €5M round in 2022.
