Fergy

FERGY AS, based in Rīga, designs, produces and builds biomass thermal power plants in the 0.5–30 MW range. The plants convert solid fuels into hot water, steam or hot air. Services run from feasibility studies and engineering through production, assembly, commissioning and after-sales service, and also include turn-key boiler house relocation.

Customers include energy production companies, small and municipal heat companies, food, agricultural and other industrial enterprises, and timber companies and pellet plants that use wood residue in their production. The company sells plant equipment and project delivery, and offers maintenance and modernisation of existing boiler plants.

Founded in 2011, FERGY reports customers and projects in 13 countries, including Spain, Poland, Scandinavia, the Baltic states and Ukraine. Its references include a 4.5 MW pellet plant for Stora Enso in Launkalne, Latvia, commissioned in 2020, and district heating projects in Lithuania and Spain.
