Feltgis

FeltGIS builds IT software for environmentally certified digital forestry, available on mobile, tablet and PC. The product combines interactive maps with forestry map layers, GPS tracking, digital forms and offline use. Its FeltBoks unit, installed in most forestry machines regardless of manufacturer, synchronises maps, jobs and files without mobile coverage.

The system supports StanForD Classic and 2010 and offers APIs for reporting production, forwarded volume, quality and calibration data. It supports PEFC and FSC certification and is prepared for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Customers include forestry contractors, large forest owners, timber buyers and suppliers of forestry services; clients named on the site include Nortømmer, Fjordtømmer, Fritzøe Skoger, Stora Enso Skog and Glommen Skog.

FeltGIS was founded in 2016 and in 2020 signed an agreement with SkogData for machine-to-machine communication with forestry machines. The company describes its growth as organic, alongside its customers. It is headquartered in Kongsvinger, Norway, and its listed team includes a CEO, a CTO, developers, a UX designer and customer support.
