About Etpa

Etpa operates a short-term electricity exchange for spot trading, congestion management and related market services. Its platform supports intraday trading, GOPACS redispatch and ex-post trading, with day-ahead access described as coming soon.

The exchange serves energy traders, asset owners and other power-market participants across Europe. It provides trading through a web interface and APIs, and handles financial and physical settlement as a central counterparty.

Founded in 2015 and based in Amsterdam, Etpa was spun out of TenneT and co-developed the GOPACS congestion market with Dutch grid operators. It presents offices in Amsterdam and Malta and has open roles in data analysis, compliance and Java development.
