About ESSAtech
ESSAtech develops and manufactures custom electronics for monitoring and security systems of fixed or mobile objects. Its main product, Keyless Defender, is a chip that wraps a key's battery and uses a motion sensor to disconnect the battery when the key is at rest, which blocks theft by keyless signal extenders while keeping normal keyless operation.
Customers are vehicle owners, who can have the chip installed in their key by themselves or by a distributor. The company covers the full cycle of custom electronics work, from specification and prototyping through testing, certification, standard production and supply.
ESSAtech was founded in 2018 by a single owner, a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at CTU in Prague, and its registered seat is in Přistoupim. The company holds ISO 9001 certification. The Keyless Defender solution is patent-protected in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany, with protection being extended to other countries. The company also works on the development of autonomous technology.
