ENGETO sells online IT courses in programming, data analysis, web development and AI. Courses are taught by lecturers in live webinars and recorded lessons, and include practical projects with lecturer feedback. The company runs its own e-learning platform, which it says lowers its costs and keeps course prices down.

Customers are individuals, including beginners and people changing careers, as well as companies that buy tailored corporate training. Revenue comes from course fees. The website states that some courses can be partly reimbursed through a Labour Office (ÚP) retraining subsidy, and that the company offers career counselling to students.

The company was registered on 30 December 2015 and its website says it has been teaching IT for more than nine years. The company registry lists Brno as its headquarters. The website reports over 17,000 graduates, more than 70 partner companies, and a 4.9 rating from 331 Google reviews. It says it has no outside investor and is financed by its own course revenue.
