About Empit

EMPIT develops Current Magnetometry Inspection (CMI), a non-intrusive method for inspecting buried pipelines without pigging, inline tools, excavation or shutdown. An AC signal is injected into the pipeline through existing cathodic protection posts, and arrays of tri-axial sensors measure the magnetic field from the surface. AI-driven cloud processing turns the data into 3D position, depth of cover, corrosion and bending strain results.

Customers are pipeline operators in oil and gas, water networks and critical energy infrastructure. The company offers inspection services including corrosion assessment, 3D mapping, pipeline movement tracking, right-of-way assessment and methane emission surveys under EU methane regulations.
