About Elnec
Elnec develops and manufactures universal and production device programmers, programming adapters, AP1 and AP3 programming modules, and the software that runs them. The programmers support devices in socket programming and in-system programming (ISP) on circuit boards. All programmers share the same software and algorithms, and the company provides free software updates with new device support.
Its customers include electronics manufacturers, programming centres, developers, small manufacturers and universities. Products are sold through authorised distributors in more than 40 countries, and some are sold under ODM names in the UK, USA and Japan. Programmers are also listed in catalogues of distributors such as Distrelec, Farnell, RS Components and TME.
Elnec was founded in 1992, and its company history dates its beginnings to 1991. Its headquarters and manufacturing facility are in Prešov, Slovakia, where development, production, testing and burn-in are carried out in-house. Universal and production programmers carry a 3-year warranty, and technical support is offered with next-working-day response.
