About ELI
ELI is an Estonian engineering company that develops drone launchers and military training equipment. Its range includes UAV pneumatic catapults for aircraft up to 120 kg MTOW (PL-40 to PL-120), PAR-50 and PAR-100 parachute release systems, HARDY and HARDY-M target sets, the M-GOLF mortar simulator and recoil simulation equipment.
Customers are defence forces, security organisations, UAV operators, training centres and field-training teams. ELI ships internationally and handles each request individually, and several products can be adapted to customer requirements. The company states that it has exported to more than 30 countries and that more than 700 pop-up target devices are in use worldwide.
The company's website dates its work for defence customers to 1995, and it was registered as a company in 1999. Its UAV branch, ELI Airborne Solutions, was set up in the 2000s. ELI is headquartered in Tallinn and describes itself as a member of the Estonian defence industry.
