About EKOSLIDE

EKOSLIDE s.r.o. develops, manufactures and sells a patented roller device for railway turnouts (switches). The device moves the switch tongue on rollers instead of sliding chairs, so the chairs no longer need lubrication. Several product series are offered, including types A, B and C, which differ in how they operate and install.

Customers are railway and industrial siding (vlečka) operators. The company sells through representative firms in individual countries, which it says are qualified to install and service the product, and it guarantees their installation and service competence. Installed units are reported at more than 240,000 pieces in more than 30 countries.

EKOSLIDE was founded in 1993 and renamed in 2015. The system was first developed in 1984 at a fuel combine in Vřesová, and export sales began in 1997. The company has its registered seat in Prague and production in Dalovice near Karlovy Vary. Its products are used on railways in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and tests have been run in India and Brazil.

Product: Patented roller system (Ekoslide types A, B, C and functional series) that replaces lubricated sliding chairs in railway and siding turnouts.
