Eight Sleep

Eight Sleep sells the Pod, a smart mattress cover with a hub and a companion app. The cover cools or warms each side of a bed, uses built-in biometric sensors, and the base can raise the head to reduce snoring, according to the website.

Customers are individual sleepers and couples who set a separate temperature on each side of the bed. The Pod is sold directly through the website; the German page lists Pod 6 from 2,199 € and new single-size models for EU markets.

Job listings include roles in San Francisco, New York City, Boston Area and Milan, plus remote US and EU positions. Openings cover hardware engineering, software engineering, growth, operations, finance and clinical research. The input does not state a founding year or headquarters.
