ehex develops software and hardware that connects healthcare providers to Germany's Telematikinfrastruktur (TI). Its products include the infinity gate TI gateway, the easyTI interface and cloud hub, the easyTI cloud for browser-based access without local infrastructure, and the ehealth cardLink for e-prescription redemption via NFC-enabled health cards.

Customers are medical practices, clinics and other healthcare facilities, as well as providers of industry software that integrate with easyTI. The company sells software solutions, gateway hardware and managed services, and states that more than 90,000 healthcare facilities use its products.

ehex was founded in 2011 as eHealth Experts GmbH in Kamen. It has offices in Dortmund and Berlin and reports more than 100 employees. The company states that it was the first TI gateway manufacturer to receive gematik full approval for HSM-B.
