About DRK-Kreisverband Mainz-Bingen

DRK-Kreisverband Mainz-Bingen e.V. is the local district association of the German Red Cross in Mainz and the Landkreis Mainz-Bingen. Its services include home care (ambulante Pflege), home emergency call (Hausnotruf, mobiler Notruf, Alleinarbeiterschutz), a MenüService meal delivery, youth welfare residential groups under § 35a SGB VIII, first-aid courses, support for homeless people, migration counselling and the Seniorenresidenz Carolinenhöhe.

The association serves older people, people with care needs, children and young people, refugees and people in the region who take first-aid courses. Its work is supported by donations and membership fees from supporting members (Fördermitglieder), and it also accepts bequests.

The association is based in Mainz. It currently lists 12 open positions, mainly in home care, youth welfare, migration counselling and the emergency call service, and offers vocational training places in nursing.
