About Donut Lab

Donut Lab develops electric vehicle technologies: the Donut Motor, an in-wheel electric motor; an all-solid-state battery; Donut Control, a control hardware architecture covering motor, battery and vehicle systems; and DonutOS, a digital twin software environment for designing and validating electric vehicles. Each technology can be used on its own or as part of the company's integrated EV platform.

Customers are vehicle and equipment manufacturers. The company names Verge Motorcycles (solid-state battery and in-wheel motor technologies for the Verge TS Pro), WattEV (in-wheel motors and battery for an aluminium EV skateboard platform) and RoboRigger (motor technology for a robotic load control system). It also runs a Global Innovators Program for early-stage EV companies under five years old that plan to build on the Donut Platform, and it supplies its technologies to OEM programs.
