domainorder.nl

DomainOrder.nl runs weekly auctions for domain names that come out of registry quarantine after their owners cancel them. Bidders place offers before each auction. The company then tries to register the names for the highest bidders, and the winner pays only if the registration succeeds. After payment, the domain is placed in the buyer's name and the buyer receives the transfer token to move it to a registrar of their choice.

The listed customers are domainers, media companies, advertising and web development agencies, SEO and SEA firms, webshop developers, starting entrepreneurs and private individuals. Revenue comes from the auction amounts that winning bidders pay for successfully registered domains.

Auctions run on Monday and Tuesday and cover the names released in the following seven days. The site gives average weekly volumes of about 7,000 .nl, 1,500 .be, 8,000 .eu, 4,000 .fr, 5,000 .it, 3,000 .ch and 2,000 .at names. The company states that it cannot guarantee that a won name can be delivered, because other companies also try to register the same domains. The site is published in Dutch.
