About dnspro.pt
DNSPRO Anycast is a managed authoritative DNS service run by Sooma. Domains are served from 57 points of presence across six continents, with the same IP addresses announced over BGP so each query reaches the nearest location. The service includes DNSSEC and IPv6 support, and customers can use Sooma-managed zones or keep their own primary nameservers and use DNSPRO as a secondary.
The service is sold per DNS zone at 17.50 € per month plus VAT, with unlimited DNS queries and no lock-in contract. Domain registration and renewals are included when domain administration is delegated to Sooma, for .pt, .com, .net, .org, .eu and major European extensions. The pitch targets businesses that run websites, email (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and want DNS treated as critical infrastructure.
Sooma is a Portuguese company headquartered in Matosinhos, operating since 2018, with two points of presence in Portugal in Lisbon and Porto. The site states that its email infrastructure serves more than 100,000 mailboxes, and that its servers are hosted in the NOS datacenter in Portugal.
Product: Managed anycast authoritative DNS hosting with DNSSEC, IPv6, and optional secondary DNS, priced per zone per month.
