Digital Matter builds proprietary adtech products for publishers, including the Horizon ad performance tool, a data management platform, Traffic Amplifier content recommendations, the Lux viewability product, a premium ad server and the Console analytics dashboard. It also offers a creative format library.

Its services cover ad inventory monetization across programmatic, header bidding, Google AdX and private deals, along with SEO, adtech consulting and a sales house that works with advertisers and media agencies in the Baltic states. Customers are publishers and advertisers; the company's website cites more than 200 publishers, 350 advertisers, 25 demand partners and 2 billion ad impressions per month.

The company is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and traces its origins to Ad.net in 2001. It was founded in 2011 under the Adnet media name, was acquired by Ekspress Grupp in 2017 and was renamed Digital Matter in 2021. It became a founding member of IAB Baltics in 2022 and a Google Certified Publisher Partner in 2024.
