About Diffblue

Diffblue builds the Diffblue Testing Agent, which orchestrates AI coding tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to generate regression unit tests across a whole codebase. The agent covers coverage analysis, build fixes, test planning, parallel test generation and verification of outputs. It supports Java 8, 11, 17, 21 and 25 as well as Python. The company also offers Diffblue Cover, a deterministic, offline Java unit test generator for air-gapped environments.

Customers are enterprise software teams, including Fortune 500 companies in financial services, insurance and technology. Pricing is per net new line of coverage added, with tests counted only when they compile, pass and add coverage; packages start at $1,500 for 5,000 lines.

Diffblue was founded in 2016 as a spin-out of the Oxford University AI research group and is registered in London, with its head office in Oxford. The company raised a £6.7m round in 2023 led by Albion Capital, and Citi joined as a strategic institutional investor in 2023.
