DESKO

DESKO a.s. builds, repairs and refurbishes glass melting furnaces, including pan furnaces, daily tanks and small continuous tanks. It also provides refractory lining, steel structures, media piping, electrical installation with measurement and control, and welding services.

Its main customers are glass producers, with a specialisation in costume jewellery and utility glass. The company states that it also applies spare capacity in related sectors such as metallurgy, construction, ceramics and heat generation, and it works on client contracts covering design, realisation, testing and commissioning.

The company was founded on 1 May 1992 from auxiliary operations of the former state enterprise Jablonecké sklárny, and it has been part of the Preciosa Group since 2002. Its electrical equipment production ended on 22 April 2025 and was transferred to H.L.F. spol. s r.o.
