About desbl.de
Deutsche eSport Bundesliga (DeSBL) runs competitive online leagues and tournaments for multiple video games, including Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant and EA FC. Its league format follows the Bundesliga principle: teams play roughly one match per week within a match-day window, and a champion is decided at the end of a season of 10 to 20 match days.
The customers are gamers, clans and teams in the German-speaking esports community. Support is provided through TeamSpeak, a support ticket system and a forum, and the league also visits clans on their own TeamSpeak servers to give on-site support. The organisation is staffed by volunteer community members.
The project grew out of the Americas Army Bundesliga (AABL), founded in 2007, and became a multigaming league in 2010, when the DeSBL website went online. A new version of the site launched in March 2016. Open volunteer roles include game admins, team leaders for new games, social media, graphics and editorial work, casting, and a player council.
Product: Competitive online league seasons and tournaments with TeamSpeak, forum and support ticket services for players and clans.
