Decant Group

Decant Group is a London-headquartered group of five business units in the wine and spirits sector. Decant Index is a marketplace where collectors and investors buy, sell and trade spirits and wine, with a collection dashboard, authenticity guarantees and insurance. House of Decant is an online retailer of a curated selection of wines and spirits. Whisky Partners buys young spirit in bulk from distilleries, in tankers and casks, and sells cask whisky and rum. Decant Bond provides bonded storage in the group's own warehouses in Alloa. Decant Ventures invests in fast-growing SMEs and creates its own brands, including the Rey del Istmo rum and Limited whisky, both launched in 2023 and 2024.

The customers are collectors, investors and consumers buying wine and spirits online, and distilleries seeking cashflow through cask purchases. Revenue comes from marketplace and retail sales, cask trading and storage services. The website states over 17,000 users, £100m under management, more than 22,000 casks under management at Whisky Partners, and Whisky Partners revenues in excess of £75,000,000 to date.

The company was founded in 2019. Its office and tasting venue is at 105 Piccadilly in London, and it also operates in Brighton and Alloa. Whisky Partners has imported several thousand aged premium rum casks into Scotland. The group offers a rum cask buy-back programme for investors.
