Cumulus9 builds margin calculation and risk analytics software for exchange-traded derivatives. The platform computes margin with 20+ native methodologies, including SPAN, SPAN 2, PRISMA, TIMS and ISDA SIMM, through a single API, and covers exchange-traded derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX and crypto.

Modules include historical VaR with Expected Shortfall, user-defined stress testing, real-time VM and IM monitoring, a Parameter Monitor for exchange margin parameter releases, and a Limits Manager. The users are risk, treasury and liquidity, operations and compliance teams at derivatives market participants.

The company was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in London. Its founder and managing director, Giuseppe Fiocco, previously worked as a market risk analyst at ICE Clear Europe. The platform received the FOW International Awards Risk Management Solution of the Year in 2023 and 2025.
