About cousinsfurniture.co.uk
Cousins Furniture is an independent, family-run furniture retailer. It sells sofas, dining, bedroom and living room furniture, beds, wardrobes, and home accessories from a range of brands including G Plan, Ercol, Parker Knoll and Harrison Spinks. It also sells ex-display and warehouse stock at reduced prices and runs a Bespoke Sofa Studio for made-to-measure sofas and chairs.
Customers are households furnishing their homes, served in showrooms and online. Revenue comes from furniture sales. Mainland UK orders are delivered by the company's own lorry fleet and delivery teams, distance orders go through a courier, and customers can collect in store for free. Finance and a 25% deposit purchase option are offered.
The original family business was established in 1921, trading reclaimed materials from household demolitions. The furniture store was founded in 1985 by two brothers and their cousin, opening its first showroom in Tyseley, Birmingham. Flagship showrooms are in Dudley, Tyseley (Birmingham), Shrewsbury and Newcastle-under-Lyme, and the company is registered in Oldbury. It is currently hiring full-time permanent Furniture Sales Consultants for its Dudley, Tyseley and Shrewsbury showrooms.
Product: Furniture and home accessories sold in showrooms and online, including ex-display and warehouse stock, plus a Bespoke Sofa Studio for made-to-measure sofas.
