About Corsmed
Corsmed develops MRI simulation software. The Corsmed MRI Simulator is a browser-based simulator where users change pulse sequences, parameters, hardware, anatomy and slice angles and see images that reflect contrast, resolution, scan time, SNR, SAR and artifacts. The company is also developing Simulation-Based Reconstruction (SBR), an investigational post-processing software medical device that generates several synthetic brain contrast images from one structured multi-sequence MRI acquisition.
Customers are MRI educators, training programmes, hospitals and institutions, as well as individual students, career-changers and radiographers. The simulator is sold with a 500-page MRI ebook and seven self-study courses as a bundle, and a free trial is offered.
Corsmed was founded in 2017 and is based in Stockholm. Co-founders Erik Jacobsson (CEO) and Christos Xanthis (CTO) are listed in the management team. Open roles include an MRI application specialist, a quantitative MRI R&D engineer, a clinical operations lead, an MRI content creator and educator, and a sales and marketing position, mostly in Stockholm with one remote role.
