About Coreso
Coreso is a Regional Coordination Centre (RCC) that collects, analyses and coordinates high-voltage power flows across Europe. It performs 15 coordination tasks mandated by the European Union under the Third Energy Package and Clean Energy Package, including monitoring and recommendations for grid security. Recent tasks include regional sizing of reserve capacity.
Its customers are Transmission System Operators (TSOs), which it advises through coordination, analyses and recommendations. It works in close cooperation with TSOs, national regulatory authorities, ENTSO-E, ACER and other RCCs. Coreso is an EU-mandated coordination body, not a commercial product company.
The company is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, close to the European Commission. Its workforce includes members from about 25 countries. It is hiring for service engineering, platform engineering and an internship in market simulations and power system engineering.
