About Contextflow

contextflow develops AI software for chest CT analysis, covering lung cancer, lung diseases and incidental pulmonary embolism. Its ADVANCE Chest CT product provides nodule detection and quantification, nodule tracking over time, quantitative lung tissue analysis and qualitative analysis of 19 image patterns, with reference cases and differential diagnosis information. The software runs within the radiologist's viewer and PACS.

Its customers include radiologists, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, and the company offers a pharma-oriented quantitative patient profiling product. The software is CE marked under the EU MDR, and its quality management system for medical devices is ISO 13485:2016 certified.

contextflow was founded in July 2016 as a spinoff of the Medical University of Vienna and is headquartered in Vienna. A clinical study with the Medical University of Vienna reported a 31% reduction in average report reading time. In August 2026 the company was acquired by 4DMedical (ASX: 4DX). The company states it is recruiting for its Vienna team.
