About ConFoot

ConFoot makes portable container legs that lift, hold and release a shipping container without a crane, forklift or fixed infrastructure. One person can fit the legs to the container's corner castings, and the truck then drives away while the container stands on its own legs. Three models are offered: the CF standard model (34 t capacity), the CFP for loading bays (30 t) and the CFU with adjustable height (20, 30 or 45 t).

Customers include ports, retail chains, transport companies, production facilities, defence forces and humanitarian aid operators. The website states the Finnish, Danish and US defence forces use the product. Sales run through a dealer network, and leadership plans expansion into African, American and Middle Eastern markets via distributors.

The company was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Jyväskylä, Finland. The product was first put on the market in 2013 after development with Helsinki Metropolia University. The company was founded by Timo Akela, Veikko Salminen and Terho Närevaara, and is now owned by a new group of owners.

Product: Portable container legs (CF, CFP and CFU models) that support shipping containers without a crane, forklift or fixed infrastructure.
