About clever fit Schweiz

clever fit operates fitness studios with training areas, functional zones, group classes, virtual courses, sauna and wellness areas, and offers personal training, nutrition plans and a HYROX training club. Members can take a free trial training session before joining.

Revenue comes from memberships sold to individuals who train at the studios. The group reports about 900,000 members across its studios. The Swiss studios are part of the wider clever fit network, which the company describes as a franchise system.

The clever fit GmbH was founded in 2007, after a pilot studio opened in Munich in 2004. Its headquarters are in Landsberg am Lech, Germany. The first clever fit studio in Switzerland opened in 2017, and the group has since expanded to Austria, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Czechia and Romania. In 2025 Basic-Fit acquired clever fit, which continues as a brand under Basic-Fit. Current Swiss job openings are for fitness instructor roles and dual Bachelor of Arts study programmes in Ostermundigen, Regensdorf, Rümlang, Muri bei Bern and Dietlikon.

Product: Fitness studio memberships with gym equipment, group classes, personal training, wellness areas and digital courses.
