About Citace.com

Citace.com develops Citace PRO, a reference manager with a source library, citation styles including ČSN ISO 690, a Word add-in and team collaboration. A free citation generator remains available, and after free sign-up users can save and sort their citations. The company also operates Pablikado, a platform through which publishers offer e-books and journals to institutions, with authentication and access management handled by the platform.

Customers include schools, universities, libraries, museums, companies, students and researchers. Revenue comes from Citace PRO licences for individuals, schools, libraries and institutions, from courses and workshops on citation, plagiarism and ethical AI use, and from printed and e-books. Publishers distribute their titles through Pablikado and invoice the institutions directly.

Citace.com was founded in 2015 and is based in Brno. Its citation tools date back to a generator launched in 2004 and the Citace PRO manager built in 2010. The company also organises the CitaKon conference and publishes an interpretation of ČSN ISO 690:2022 under a Creative Commons BY 4.0 licence.

Product: Citace PRO reference manager with ČSN ISO 690 citation styles and Word add-in; Pablikado platform for distributing e-books and journals to institutions.
