Cinema City Česká republika operates cinemas in the Czech Republic. Its venues offer film screenings in formats such as IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Atmos and laser projection, along with a VIP zone that combines a restaurant and a cinema.

Its customers are cinema visitors, plus companies that rent cinema halls, buy gift vouchers or book private screenings of a film for their employees or business partners. Revenue comes from ticket sales, food and beverage at the bar, and corporate and private bookings. The company presents itself as part of the Cineworld PLC group, which it says operates in ten countries.

According to its website, the company opened its first multiplex, Cinema City Galaxie in Prague, in mid-2001, and operates 12 multiplexes and one megaplex in seven cities: Praha, Brno, Liberec, Pardubice, Plzeň, Ústí nad Labem and Ostrava. The careers page lists open positions for cashiers, bartenders, coffee staff, ushers and a call centre operator, with flexible shift planning and no prior experience required.
