About CGTrader

CGTrader runs an online marketplace for 3D models, assets and print-ready files, sold in formats such as Blender, OBJ, FBX, glTF and Unity. The catalog covers gaming, architecture, film and 3D printing, and the company also offers a freelance service where buyers post 3D modeling projects and pay through prepaid escrow.

Buyers include individual 3D artists and enterprise teams; the company states that more than 100 Fortune 500 companies are clients. Business accounts provide a shared team library and prepaid business credits. Designers, who create the models sold on the platform, are the other side of the marketplace.

The company is registered in Lithuania as UAB CGTrader, with Vilnius as its headquarters, and was founded in 2012. Its own history dates the start of the business to 2011, when Marius Kalytis founded it. The company reports more than 2 million 3D models, over 12 million users and 40,000 freelance 3D designers on the platform.

Product: Online marketplace for 3D models and print-ready files, plus a freelance service for hiring 3D designers on modeling projects.
