CE Industries

MICo s.r.o., a Czech member of the CE Industries energy engineering division, designs and manufactures steel tubular heat exchangers, pressure vessels and special weldments. Its in-house engineering centre produces thermal-hydraulic and strength calculations, design, production and welding documentation, and works to standards such as EN 13445, ASME Section VIII Div. 1 and PED 2014/68/EU.

Customers are energy and industrial equipment suppliers and operators in nuclear and conventional power, district heating, waste incineration, chemical and petrochemical industries. The company's website lists references including ČEZ group, Doosan Škoda Power, Siemens and Rolls-Royce. Revenue comes from individual and small-series manufacturing projects, and MICo also offers subcontracting (cooperation) in machining, sheet rolling and welding.

The company was founded in 1993 as a service firm at the Dukovany nuclear power plant and began its own production in 1998 at Hrotovice; a second plant in Kramolín followed in 2011. Its two plants total 60,000 m² and its headquarters and engineering centre are in Třebíč, with an office in Brno. According to the website, the company entered insolvency in 2022 and was taken over by the CE Industries holding.
