About Capital on Tap
Capital on Tap offers business credit cards for small businesses, with uncapped 1% cashback on card spending, free employee cards, virtual cards and preloading. It also offers an Instant Savings account, powered by ClearBank and launched in 2025. Card spending syncs with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent.
Its customers are small business owners and their teams in the UK and the US, and the company says more than 300,000 businesses have signed up. Cards are offered on Free and Pro plans, and reward points can be redeemed for cash, gift cards, Avios, Virgin Points or Radisson Rewards.
The company was founded in London in 2012 and entered the US market in 2021 in partnership with WebBank, with Atlanta as its American home. It lists offices in London, Cardiff, Brighton, Manchester and New York. Current job openings span engineering, customer operations, risk, compliance and sales, with roles in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Brighton, Porto and Lisbon.
