About Calefa

Calefa designs and delivers waste-heat recovery and heat pump systems. Its AmbiHeat plants generate heat without combustion from electricity, industrial waste heat or ambient sources, and its AmbiSteam solution produces steam of more than 5 bar from industrial waste heat. Retrofit solutions reuse process waste heat within existing factory infrastructure.

Customers include industrial companies, energy companies and owners of large properties. Calefa delivers turnkey systems and says it has supplied about 200 energy systems since 2013.

Calefa Oy is headquartered in Hollola, Finland, and was founded on 16 September 2013. AmbiSteam modules are manufactured at its own factory in Ikaalinen and transported to customer sites. The website is published in Finnish.
