About CABB
CABB Group is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for the pharma, life sciences, fine chemicals and crop science industries. It covers complex, high-purity molecules from process development and piloting through scale-up to commercial manufacturing. The group also sells a fine chemicals portfolio of reagents, building blocks and advanced intermediates, produced made-to-order, and is a major producer of high-purity monochloroacetic acid.
Customers include companies in pharma, life sciences, crop science and performance materials that need custom manufacturing or high-value starting materials. Services include custom synthesis, process scale-up and on-site analytical support. The company also has distribution partnerships, including with Univar Solutions for glycolic acid in North America and EMEA.
CABB operates five production sites in Switzerland, Germany, Finland and China and has around 1,000 employees. It reported an annual turnover of €494 million for the 2025 financial year. The Finnish operating company, CABB Oy, was founded in 1995 and is based in Kokkola. Current openings are in Kokkola (ICT specialist, electrical engineer for automation maintenance) and Gersthofen, Germany (chemical operator on shift work, industrial mechanic, EMR maintenance technician).
